China Association for the Promotion of Internation Notice to Members

一、促进会的会员由团体会员和个人会员组成。

二、申请加入本会的会员须具备如下条件：

1. 拥护本团体的章程；

2. 有加入本团体的意愿；

3. 在本团体的业务（行业、学科）领域内具有一定的影响；

4. 有良好的诚信、契约与合作精神；

5. 愿意为产业的健康发展贡献力量，并承担更多社会任。

三、会员入会的程序是：

1. 提交入会申请书；

2. 经理事会讨论通过；

3. 理事会闭会期间，经常务理事会讨论通过；

4. 由理事会或理事会授权机构发给会员证。

四、会员享有下列权利：

1. 本团体的选举权、被选举权和表决权；

2. 参加本团体的活动；

3. 获得本团体服务的优先权；

4. 对本团体工作的批评建议权和监督权；

5. 入会自愿，退会自由。

五、会员履行下列义务：

1. 遵守本团体的决议；

2. 维护本团体的合法权益；

3. 完成本团体交办的工作；

4. 按规定交纳会费；

5. 向本团体反映情况，提供有关资料。

六、会员退会应书面通知本团体，并交回会员证。会员如1年不交纳会费或不参加本会活动的，视为自动退会。

七、会员如有严重违反本章程的行为，经理事会或常务理事会表决通过，予以除名。

八、个人会员仅限本会邀请。

Executive Vice President Xi Chunling and Her Delegation Visited FAO Headquarters to Deepen Cooperation in Animal Welfare

近日，中国农业国际合作促进会常务副会长兼秘书长席春玲、动物福利国际合作分会副秘书长张沛，拜访联合国粮食及农业组织（FAO）总部，就动物福利与可持续畜牧业转型问题与联合国粮农组织动物生产与健康司进行交流合作。

Recently, Xi Chunling, Executive Vice President and Secretary General of CAPIAC and Zhang Pei, Deputy Secretary General of ICCAW visited FAO headquarters and conducted cooperative communication with Animal Production and Health Division of FAO on animal welfare and sustainable livestock transformation.

联合国粮农组织动物生产与卫生司司长Thanawat Tiensin、高级动物生产官员Badi Besbes、高级动物卫生官员赵维宁、动物生产官员Daniela Battaglia参与并出席了本次座谈会议。

Thanawat Tiensin, Director of Animal Production and Health Division, Badi Besbes, Senior Animal Production Officer, Weining Zhao, Senior Animal Health Officer and Daniela Battaglia, Animal Production Officer participated in the exchange meeting.

Thanawat Tiensin司长对席会长一行的到访表示欢迎，并对与中国农业国际合作促进会一直以来在动物福利方面的良好合作表示肯定。Tiensin表示FAO支持其成员国在加深畜牧系统对实现可持续发展目标（SDGs）上作出贡献。

Director Tiensin expressed warm welcome to President Xi Chunling’s visit and recognition to CAPIAC’s works in promoting animal welfare. He said that FAO supports its Members to strengthen the contribution of livestock systems towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

FAO 的《2022-31年战略框架》着力推动转型，实现“更好的生产、更好的营养、更好的环境和更好的生活”，而可持续畜牧系统对实现每一个愿景都发挥着重要作用。动物福利作为“更好的畜牧生产系统”中重要组成部分，也是实现可持续畜牧业转型的重要途径。

FAO Strategic Framework 2022-31 promotes transformation and strives for better production, better nutrition, better environment and a better life. Sustainable livestock systems play important roles in achieving each of these aspirations. Animal welfare, as an essential part of a better livestock system, is an important way to achieve sustainable livestock transformation.

他介绍，在今年9月25-27日，FAO将在罗马总部首次举办“全球可持续畜牧业转型大会”，欢迎中国农业国际合作促进会组织各方，在可持续畜牧业框架下就动物福利这一议题在大会同期进行讨论。

He welcomed CAPIAC’s participation in first ever Global Conference on Sustainable Livestock Transformation from 25 to 27 September 2023 at FAO headquarters, Rome and communication on animal welfare for sustainable livestock transformation.

席会长感谢了Tiensin司长的欢迎和他对双方合作的支持，并介绍了在世界农场动物福利大会的推动下“北京共识”各方的工作成果，并邀请Tiensin司长参加中农促动物福利国际合作分会将于6月份在北京举行的“相约十年，共话可持续畜牧业与动物福利未来”的主题活动。

Ms. Xi expressed her thanks to Mr. Tiensin for his welcome and support for the cooperation between the two sides. She introduced the outcomes of the Beijing Consensus partners produced under the promotion of the World Conference on Farm Animal Welfare, and invited Mr. Tiensin to participate in the “Together for the Next Decade of Animal Welfare for Sustainable Livestock Transformation” Conference to be held in Beijing in June by the International Cooperation Committee of Animal Welfare (ICCAW).

经过讨论，双方决定将在9月28日于联合国粮食及农业组织总部召开世界农场动物福利-北京共识主题论坛，讨论动物福利在政策、立法、科学技术、实践等方面的最新进展，分享北京共识参与机构的活动，明确工作组重点任务等。

After discussion, the two sides decided to hold a meeting of the Beijing Consensus group on September 28 at the headquarters of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations to share info on animal welfare state-of-the-art (policies, legislation, scientific and technical info, practices, etc.) and Beijing Consensus partners’ activities, Identify priorities for the Beijing Consensus group, and so on.

随后，席会长和与会的FAO官员共同探讨了举行“全球可持续畜牧业转型大会”动物福利边会及筹备2024年在罗马举行世界农场动物福利大会等议题，并成功达成一致。

Agreement has been reached on works including organizing a side event on farm animal welfare during the FAO Global Conference on Sustainable Livestock Transformation and holding 2024 World Conference on Farm Animal Welfare in Rome.
