As global agriculture moves towards large-scale, intensive, and automated development, the concept of industrial agriculture is becoming a key driving force for agricultural modernization and industrial transformation. Grounded in technological innovation, market demand, and supply chain integration, industrial agriculture is injecting new vitality into the agricultural sector.

Against this backdrop, the 2024 Global Technology Transfer Conference · Industrial Agriculture Industry Innovation Forum, under the theme “Innovation Leading the Future, Industrial Agriculture Empowering The The Belt and Road’s Transformation and Upgrading,” aims to build an integrated service ecosystem centered on international technology trade and cooperation along The Belt and Road, with a focus on talent-driven solutions. The forum will feature a comprehensive range of activities including fund launches, results showcases, supply-demand matching, partnership signings, talent training, keynote speeches, round table discussions, and technology manager exhibitions, all designed to accelerate the adoption of the industrial agriculture concept in promoting agricultural modernization and industrial upgrading.

National Technology Transfer Eastern Center

The National Technology Transfer Eastern Center is a national regional technology transfer platform jointly promoted by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China and the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, guided by the Shanghai Science and Technology Commission, and coordinated by the Shanghai Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Center. On April 23, 2015, Mr. Gang Wan , then Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and Minister of Science and Technology, and Mr.Bo Zhou , Vice Mayor of Shanghai, jointly unveiled it.

It is committed to providing full-chain services in technology transactions, technology finance, and industrial incubation, opening up channels for the transformation of scientific and technological achievements between universities, scientific research institutions, and enterprises, building a platform-based, internationalized, market-oriented, capitalized, and professional fourth-party platform, creating an innovative ecological system for the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and helping Shanghai build a "scientific and technological innovation center with global influence".

Shanghai Eastern Technology Achievement Transformation Co., Ltd. is the operating entity of the National Technology Transfer Eastern Center. It will take Shanghai Bay Valley Science and Technology Park as a core, radiate two major international and domestic technology transfer market channels, form a three-layer operating structure with guidance from governments at all levels, management by platform companies, and operation by market-oriented enterprises, and gather the collaborative strength of four major corporate units to jointly promote the construction of the National Technology Transfer Eastern Center.

China Association for the Promotion of International Agricultural Cooperation International Agricultural Think Tank

The China Association for the Promotion of International Agricultural Cooperation International Agricultural Think Tank is a national, non-profit, first-level social organization established in 1998 with the approval of the Ministry of Agriculture and registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs. Its mission is to promote international and domestic exchanges and cooperation in the fields of agricultural talent, technology, investment, and information. The international agricultural think tank executing this cooperation was established under the CAICPA, bringing together domestic and international academic leaders, political advisors, and business elites with significant social influence. The think tank pools top-level expertise in the "three rural" (agriculture, rural areas, and farmers) fields, with a focus on China and a global perspective. Its goal is to share China's agricultural success stories and absorb outstanding international agricultural achievements. Leveraging a strong team of experts, the think tank integrates agricultural scientific and technological resources and builds a high-tech industry-university-research docking platform. It provides high-level agricultural and rural top-level design, policy consulting, technical guidance, and specialized training, offering intellectual support for the comprehensive promotion of rural revitalization and the accelerated construction of a strong agricultural nation.

National Rural Industry International And Development Alliance

The National Rural Industry Integration Development Alliance was established to implement the "Opinions of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on Implementing the Rural Revitalization Strategy" and the "Guiding Opinions of the State Council on Promoting Rural Industry Revitalization." With the support and guidance of the Rural Industry Development Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the alliance was initiated by Mr.Yonghao Liu, Chairman of New Hope Group. It was voluntarily formed by over 200 entities, including relevant institutions, associations, research institutes, universities, financial institutions, enterprises, and media outlets across the country. The alliance is a national, non-profit social innovation platform dedicated to promoting the integration of primary, secondary, and tertiary industries in rural areas and to achieving comprehensive rural economic prosperity. Currently, nearly 400 council members have joined the alliance, including well-known leading enterprises such as New Hope Group, Beidahuang Group, Sinochem, Shounong, Tencent, Mengniu, and others. The alliance covers the entire agricultural value chain, encompassing scientific research and development, digital agriculture, intensive production, deep processing, modern warehousing, and smart logistics in the fields of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, fisheries, and more.

‌Shanghai Agricultural Science and Technology Service Center ‌

Shanghai Agricultural Science and Technology Service Center‌ is a fully funded institution directly under the Shanghai Municipal Agriculture Committee. It was established in 2000. The Shanghai Agricultural Science and Technology Service Center is mainly responsible for conducting policy research related to the development of agriculture through science and technology, organizing and implementing agricultural science and technology development plans; responsible for the daily management of the city's science and technology development projects; organizing relevant units to carry out agricultural science and technology promotion and achievement transformation and application, and promoting the construction of agricultural science and technology innovation system and agricultural technology promotion system.

In addition, the Shanghai Agricultural Science and Technology Service Center actively participates in the transformation and transaction of agricultural science and technology achievements, promotes the smooth transformation of scientific and technological achievements into actual productivity through effective achievement transformation models, and promotes the sustainable and healthy development of scientific and technological achievement transformation work by taking achievement transformation as one of the important indicators of project performance evaluation, and actively promotes diversified cooperation models, deepens services, and provides all-round support for the transformation of scientific and technological achievements.

TechCube Capital

Tech Cube Capital is a technology commercialization innovation service platform focusing on the future agricultural technology field. It has a number of early project investment incubation and technology transfer experiences. The company is committed to using underlying core technologies such as gene editing, synthetic biology, and AI-assisted design to deeply deploy innovation directions such as biological breeding, bio-based new materials, new generation of agricultural biological preparations, and new equipment/software to help realize the commercialization of technological achievements.
