Daniela Battaglia points out that animal welfare is increasingly more and more important on a global level, with many farmers relying on animal production to contribute to their incomes and national economies.

提升动物福利，可以使动物生产更加具有效率，促进粮食安全，同时有助于应对气候变化，减少环境污染带来的负面影响，关系到可持续发展目标的实现。
